When you eat carbohydrates, some of the harmful strains of bacteria in your mouth, such as mutans streptococci, enjoy the same meal. When the bacteria metabolize the carbs, the process produces acid, which strips minerals from your teeth. This stripping of minerals, or demineralization, makes your teeth a breeding ground for infection. Contact us today to schedule an appointment.

Do dentists in Mexico comply with the same standards as dentists in the United States?

No. Unlike Mexico, Dentistry in the U.S. has many systems in place to guarantee patients’ high standards of protection. In addition to BODEX, American dentists come under the regulation and control of the Federal Government’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

As a proud supporter of Small Business Saturday®, a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year, Dr. Robert Brown and his staff are encouraging everyone to support small businesses by doing some of their holiday shopping on the Saturday after Thanksgiving at small businesses.

When you stop to think about it, using the word "black" to describe a massive shopping day contradicts the history of our other “black” days.

  • Black Friday originally refered to Sept 24, 1869, when the collapse of a gold speculation plan took the stock market down.
  • Black Monday is known as “the most notorious day in financial history (Oct 19, 1987.)”
  • Yes, there is also a Black Tuesday, and a  Black Thursday. None of these are exactly occasions for holiday shopping.

CINCINNATI, Nov 21, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Most people are looking forward to the food, family gatherings and gift giving that comes along with the holiday season. Dr. Robin Gurwitch, a psychologist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, reminds parents that this is also the time of year when they should pause to say thanks and also reinforce this idea in their children.

Who would have thought posing for a ribbon cutting photo would be so complicated? This video shows Dr. Robert Brown cutting a ribbon in front of his office for a Chandler Chamber of Commerce award ceremony for fifteen years of success in the Chandler, AZ community. Instead of saying "cheese", he asks te crowd to yell out "train to save", which is his army motto. Dr. Brown is proud to serve the country by continuing to hold the rank of major in U.S. Army Reserve.

The Chandler Chamber of Commerce honored Dr. Robert Brown for fifteen years of success with an award on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at our office location. This is a video of the speech he gave after receiving the award. In true "Bob Brown" fashion, he gets the crowd laughing with some very funny comments.
